While one recording of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording said: "Suppose there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? What then? Wouldn't that be important for you?"

"I do not need money, I have a living here in Poland, I just want to know," the message continued.

The tribunal was told that by means of emails, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt requested a DNA test, transmitted early photographs to her phone in a bid to show a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and asserted to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, a data specialist with Leicestershire Police who gathered the data, informed the court there "seemed to lack any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally reached out to family friends of the McCanns, according to the communication logs.

On that date, Mr McCann picked up a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "incorrect contact information."

That day Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone stating "I won't give up and I plan to establish my point."
